Bernette Sherman is a multi-genre author who has written sci-fantasy, fantasy, poetry, and self-help, publishing her first book in 2016. She is also a playwright, with her play Four Wives and a Will being selected and produced for the 2021 SheATL Theater Festival and her play Soil produced for The Blue Series. She’s been a speaker and presenter at Black Writers Weekend, Broadleaf Writers Conference, Atlanta Writers Conference, and Atlanta Writers Club meetings, in addition to sharing her books at other places.
Through her 1-Thing Way framework, she provides a framework to help everyday people and leaders stop the hustle life and instead get results with a sustainable, strategic path made for their real life.
Bernette is also an NFEC Certified Financial Education Instructor, Precision Nutrition Certified Level 1 Nutrition Coach, active aging specialist, women’s fitness specialist, and former personal trainer.
