Example: If your manuscript is 50,500 words, that is considered 50k-100k.
As there is a minimum amount of time and effort to create any file, from a five-page short story to a full-length novel, the $40 minimum is the lowest tier.
Ordering:
Complete this form to request book formatting – On the form, you’ll provide the information needed to format your book.
Then submit payment via the payment link. You’ll also see the link for payment.
After submitting form, you will get a message with the email address to submit the MS Word document once payment is submitted.
Make sure you’ve got the following completed when you order your service:
Final eBook Cover in jpg or png (note if having this done by someone, Amazon only allows jpg files for ebook covers) (if you don’t have it, you can add it later, but there is a fee.)
Completed and Edited Manuscript in MS Word
Chapters must begin with Heading 1 (whether the chapters are simply numbered or they are titled). You don’t need to worry about section breaks, page breaks, or page numbers. Just that the chapters have headings.
Multi-POV books or subheadings begin with Heading 2
Dedication page verbiage
Any special verbiage you’d like on your Copyright page
Your Author Bio (include website and social media links if you want them in your book)
Other books you have if you’d like an Also By page
Turn-Around Time
For most books without custom chapters, you can expect a turnaround time of 2 to 4 days.
If you need your book completed in 24 hours or 48 hours, there is an upcharge, but please contact me first to see if I can accommodate.
When you receive your files, please check them, especially the PDF. As an author, I know that seeing your words in a different layout means seeing errors that you may not have seen before. I do not change your manuscript or edit your document. I simply use the file you provide to generate a clean and professionally formatted epub, mobi, and/or PDF file.
Oopsies
I know we make mistakes. I can sometimes accommodate minor changes, like you found you spell Jim as Jom on page 72, or that you forgot a pesky word like, ‘a’, ‘the’, or forgot to close a dialogue tag. I get it. We’re human and just doing our best. Before emailing me at the first error, proofread your whole book and then see what you’ve got. I can do a free regeneration for a few simple errors as I mentioned. But if the book has more corrections, it will require a new generation and the full fee is needed.
If you discover you sent the wrong version after I have completed the generation and sent you the files, please note that you will need to reorder.
AI
It is your business how you write your book, but I won’t use it to do my part. Your book will not be entered into any AI checking software or tools, and neither will your cover. If I notice something that could be problematic, I will let you know.
Your Manuscript
Once you receive the files for your formatted book (either email or Google Drive, depending on the size) and accept them, I hold them for up to 1 week and then delete them.
